maybe chaos should have gotten some termies earlier?

That Electromag they dropped in the last round was devastating. Never seen it be that effective.

Rhino builds play rather differently than your normal standard builds. -First they want to be deployed in the front rather than the rear, so they spend less time running towards the enemy while getting shot, while covered from the initial enemy volley with crawlers that move slightly faster than them. -Second they want the power armor tech to ignore sentry missile and tower destruction slows, as well as the temporary speed buff for 50 every round. -Third you want to deploy asymmetrically with all the rhinos at one side and your weak side defended by spaced out chaff to delay the enemy push, as well as fortifying your strong side's tower. The idea is to kill half of their army really fast while taking minimal losses and be on their side of the map while your weak side tower goes down, then come back and kill the second half of their army. You further this plan by buying the mobile beacon for 100 and send ~3 spinning rhinos in a group straight to the enemy tower ignoring the enemies outside the beacon zone. Then you sprinkle in some extra tower fortifications/sentry missiles to adjust the timing of when your weak side tower goes down. It's certainly not meta but really cool when it works. Asymmetrical play can get really interesting.

Few advices about last game: - no point in going Typhon's, as they have almost same role as Mustangs - if you would buy there 4 squads of lvl3 mustangs you would be in a lot better position -Despite typhoons and stormcallers, you lacked good chaff clear against enemy crawlers: again, more mustangs with range and DMG would fix that problem - DMG on stormies isn't best upgrade: launcher overload would not only help you with chaff clear, but also would make his anti air on tanks a lot worse - Don't even consider marksmen lategame - without lvls they are really bad.

The final round they put the oil drop vertically instead of horizontally, so it stretched from close to the boundary line all the way back to your tower, covering the area where your stormcallers clumped. Then they set it on fire with their vulcan, and the fire killed all your stormcallers. It was a clever play and I probably wouldn't have been ready for it either, but I do believe that the drop-in shield you can buy for 100 blocks all of those debuff type drop-ins like smoke, oil, acid, etc. If you'd had shields down over your big clumps and they'd blocked the oil and electro, you probably would've won since your electro looked like it got blocked by their shields.

However the inspiration spells mechanic is too OP!!!

I wonder what is tank busta barrage + volley same time dps against all targets. Maybe super lot i guess.

I haven't seen chaos take such a beating since abbafail wasted his priceless Blackstone fortress to crack a single planet because his black failcade was floundering for the 13th time. Man he sucks. But back to the game, chaos had everything right, teir three first, extra resources and early great unclean ones. So where did they go wrong, and it was the twor three rush, they simply didn't have model numbers on the field. Quantity is a quality in its own. Sm struggled early but with orky help they overcame the PC and from there on they had the numbers and the mobility to deal with chaos. Chaos really did put up some really good pushes, but being a single faction it's easier for your opponents to build to counter you. You had AV carni, next to flashgitz next to sternguard, easy to cancel the chaos roster.

Maybe a better player than me can comment, but I feel like flanks are only really good the round they come in. It just so rarely seems worth it to me unless you're already getting redeploys for some other reason.

Tier 5 Mythic units usually have Morale Loss Immunity. Which is likely why when your Corrupted Soul was hitting the Horned God, it hit for -0 Morale.

Thanks for making videos and getting me into this sick game! I had never heard of it somehow. I immediately made a little frog knight champ with a lily pad on his head and loved it!

A bit late response, but units that probide no zone of control are not blocking ranged attacks. So if unit is frozen, stunned, or just stand in front of ranged unit and facing away - ranged units can attack while being adjacent to the enemy.

39:45 this match you were struggling with his chaff countering your flanking wasps… chaff can be solved with cheap missiles… if you’d put a missile on either flank it will wipe those blocks of fangs in one strike. Allowing your wasps to move on to harder targets…

Sledges are actually excellent against steel balls, but only if you place them vertically so each of them has to get focused in turn. They take forever to die like that because the steel balls have to ramp up five times, and putting them vertically desyncs their firing, which makes them marginally better at chaff clear too.

10:30 ish, your Mustangs can get missile interceptor. I am not an expert at this game but from what I have seen, if your enemy goes for stormcallers and you already have mustangs, that's a great way to discourage them. Also, missile intercept can sometimes - when they're close enough - take down missile strikes (those 50 supply one time use ones). As for prioritizing air units with air spec, if I am not mistaken they may prioritize air units because they get increased range vs air units.

Rock 'em Sock 'em! By the way if you're waiting on Incendiary Bomb to cool down to desperately solve a chaff problem, if you really need it, you could always go for the Sticky Oil Bombs and set that on fire. Or if you have both, overlap them, because sometimes you just want to watch the world burn :)

Nice video as always! Just in case, the two/three red swords you can sometimes see under enemy healthbars is the amount of available Attacks of Opportunity/Retaliation Attacks they have afaik
